Dear Parents,
I am very pleased to announce exciting “Best of Ahwatukee” news. For the third time, St. John Bosco took top honors for Best Preschool. Preschool Director Krissy Bileski continues to attract the community's attention for her devotion to our loving, faith-filled school of young learners.
I am also very humbled to accept the honor of Best Leader/Principal for the 2nd consecutive year. Your confidence in me as principal of this wonderful Catholic school is beyond words, and your continued support is truly touching.
And it doesn’t end there: SJB placed in the “Reader Recommended” category for Best Private school and Best Place to Work. But wait, there’s more!
Esteemed Jr. High teacher Mrs. Sandra Heffron placed as “Reader Recommended” for Best Middle School Teacher. Likewise, beloved 5th-grade teacher Mr. Seth Tyler placed as “Reader Recommended” for Best Elementary School Teacher. We have privately recognized the dedication of all of our teachers; however, it is gratifying indeed to see the acknowledgement of our faculty from the community.
You may find detailed results in an upcoming edition of the Ahwatukee Foothills News. Thank you to everyone who took the time to cast their votes and rally behind our cherished school.
We are thrilled to share the outstanding high school placement results for our current 8th-grade class! Their hard work and dedication have truly paid off, with 44% placing into Honors English, 61.5% placing into Honors Algebra, 54% qualified for Honors Biology, and 54.5% receiving an invitation to the Seton Catholic Preparatory Engineering program. This remarkable achievement is particularly exciting as this is the second 8th-grade class to have completed three years of the Connected Math Program (CMP) at St. John Bosco. We are incredibly proud of our students and grateful for the commitment of our teachers and families who foster academic excellence!
Joyful Blessings,
Jamie Bescak, Principal
