CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK

It's almost here—the most relevant week of the year for our students and school community! Every day of the week boasts a special, fun event. Click the button below and plan to join us to celebrate!
Join us for the Catholic Schools Week Celebration of Learning Open House and bring a friend! It promises to be an enjoyable evening featuring singing, art, science, laughter, and community building. Highlights include:
- SJB Choir's captivating short concert

- Exploration of the Science Fair in the MPR
- Campus-wide display of STEM and science projects
- Artistic showcase with Art Masterpiece projects in every classroom

Exciting Orchestra Opportunity
St. John Bosco will be partnering with The Orchestra Project North America (TOPNA) next year!
TOPNA is a high-quality after-school music program offering classical music instruction led by professional musicians. Classes will be held onsite twice a week, in a dynamic orchestra setting, with a focus on foundational string instruments.
Instruments are not included, but affordable rental and rent-to-own options are available at competitive rates.

Reminders for All Parents
RESTROOMS. For the safety and privacy of all students and in keeping with our Safe Environment policy, parents and visitors are not permitted to use student restrooms at any time, including before and after school. If a restroom is needed, please stop by the front office to obtain a key to a designated staff/visitor restroom. Thank you for understanding.
COURTYARD. To ensure safety and appropriate supervision before school, students are to report directly to the playground or library, unless accompanied by a parent. Students may not gather in groups to look for friends or wander in the courtyard before school. Teachers regularly remind students of these expectations to maintain proper supervision and a safe start to the school day. Thank you for your support and reinforcement of these procedures.

Re-enrollment for current students is open and accessible through your RenWeb account. Re-enrollment must be submitted by MONDAY, January 26 to guarantee a spot for next year!
PLEASE NOTE: If your FACTS Incidental Account is more than 30 days past due, re-enrollment will be on hold until the balance is up to date.
PARISH VERIFICATION
Please complete and submit this Parish Verification Form as soon as possible. We will contact parishes in March to confirm standing, as determined by each parish's pastor. Each family enrolling or re-enrolling must provide valid parish verification to receive the Active Catholic rate.*
*Active Catholic means a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church. One or more parents in the household are Catholic and raising their child(ren) in the Catholic faith. Their child(ren) is/are baptized and will receive sacraments at the appropriate age designated by the Church.

Next up in Katey McPherson's informative Parent Series is children's mental health. Ahwatukee therapist Travis Dale will focus on cutting through the noise and identifying the most important protective factors for children and teens. All are welcome. See detailed flyer HERE.
Got Sports Equipment?
Aligning with the Gospel Value of Equality, St. John Bosco's 6th-grade classes are collecting new and gently used sports equipment to donate to a local Catholic school in need. Click here for details!
