Dear Parents,
As we celebrate Palm Sunday, we prepare for Holy Week and the solemn events leading up to our Lord's crucifixion on Good Friday and glorious resurrection on Easter Sunday. As a Catholic school, our teachers have the distinct privilege of structuring assignments, retreats, and activities to reflect the paschal mystery throughout the season of Lent.
This Monday each homeroom will experience our outdoor Stations of the Cross with their teacher and classmates. On Holy Thursday, we will begin our morning with the 6th graders performing the annual SJB Passion Play. Each class will then spend the remainder of the day in grade-level Lenten retreats, allowing the students to gain a solid understanding of the true meaning of Easter and God's plan of salvation.
Please remember we do not have school on Good Friday or Easter Monday; school will resume on Tuesday, April 19th. I pray you all have a blessed Triduum and Easter and enjoy the extended weekend!

Year-End Scrip Report
A statement has been sent home with the youngest child in each family that has your year-end Scrip accounting. This statement will show whether you have met your $150 annual obligation or if you still have a balance due to SJB. If you have not met your obligation, your FACTS account will be invoiced with a collection date of May 2, 2022. You will receive the invoice approximately 10 days prior to your account being charged.

Vacation Bible School

What can I expect? We will spend the week celebrating God’s greatness and love for us. Kids will leave with new friends, and fun, faith-filled memories, complete with games, music, Bible stories, Saints, snacks, & more! You won’t want to miss out on this Southwest adventure presented by St. Benedict and Corpus Christi. Families may join in the fun on Friday as we wrap up the week with a picnic celebration. It’s going to be Monumental!

The School Advisory Board (SAB) is comprised of parents and faculty members whose purpose is to advance the common good for all students, promote academic excellence, counsel and advocate for school-wide initiatives, and represent the voice of the community. Advisory Board efforts and actions are aligned in accordance with the Mission and Philosophy of St. John Bosco School and the traditions of the Catholic Faith.

Easter Egg Hunt
Join us on Easter Sunday after the 10 AM Mass for an Easter Egg Hunt! Eggs will be hidden in two separate areas on the grounds of St. John Bosco School.
One area will be designated for the Preschool – 2nd-grade age group, and the second area for the 3rd – 5th-grade age group. We have over 1,000 eggs with stickers and treats in them AND 12 Golden Eggs that contain a special surprise!
Cost is $10 per child (paid day of; cash appreciated) and includes:
- admission to the Hunt
- a keepsake bag for your eggs
- a raffle ticket to win one of 3 Easter Baskets
- a photo with an Easter Bunny
