Secondly, I would like to announce that
starting next school year we will have a NEW before- and after-school program called
Innovation Learning. Innovation Learning is a full-service program that offers academic support by a certified teacher, fitness, play, and STEM learning. The hours will be Monday through Thursday 6:30 - 7:30 AM, and 3:00 - 6:00 PM; Fridays 6:30 - 7:30 AM and 12:30 - 6:00 PM. Innovation Learning will also offer childcare coverage for days when school is not in session such as Labor Day or Spring Break. More information about a possible summer offering will be coming soon!

We are also excited to share that the Duke University Softball Team visited our campus yesterday and utilized our newly renovated softball field for their practice. The word got out that this “small Catholic school in Phoenix” has an awesome field. Campus Ambassadors welcomed them to our campus and enjoyed watching them practice. It was a thrilling experience for our aspiring athletes and a beautiful way to spend the afternoon. We owe a great deal of gratitude to SJB parent Mrs. Teri Root for many months of hard work renovating our field and arranging for Duke’s practice while in town for a tournament at ASU.
Lastly, although we believe St. John Bosco is an outstanding Catholic school, even the most exceptional schools and organizations have room for growth and improvement. We value honest feedback from our parents, faculty, staff, and students regarding their experience at St. John Bosco so I kindly ask all parents to take a few minutes to fill out this
Parent Survey by
March 1st. Faculty and staff will be emailed a separate survey Monday, and kindergarten - 8th-grade students will be given the student survey in class next week.
We are truly grateful for your time to share your thoughts.
